According to our reliable sources, The Engineering Wing has started its working for leveling the 150 feet wide LDA City Main Boulevard Road. The speed of development work in LDA City Phase 1 is also increased as after the order of the Director-General of LDA City.
Location Details of the Project
LDA City Lahore is located beautifully on Main Ferozepur Road. It is positioned on the distance of 1.5 KM distance from Lahore Metro Bus Terminal Point in Kahna Kacha. However, society will cover Kacha, Kahna, Rakh, Sidhar, Thay, Jhedu, Haloki, Panju, Toor, Warriach Mouzas.
LDA City & Supreme Court of Pakistan
Previously, the Supreme Court of Pakistan has stopped the development work of LDA City because of differences in the number of files sold and land purchased for the project. In December 2018 The Supreme Court of Pakistan has taken notice for it and after analysis and investigation of the matter directed it to Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed Minister of Housing and Urban Development to make a scheme for the concerned file holder’s compensation.
After the Supreme Court order, the management of LDA was also instructed by Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed to recompense all the file holders.
The development partners of LDA City was ordered to submit a report after every month and also instructed to handover 4500 Kanal land in next 8 month to LDA City.
That is why the project is divided into two different phases.
LDA City Receives 375 Kanal of Additional Land
A land of 375 Kanal has been purchased by LDA City Authority in the previous month from a private landowner and this land is now added in development of Phase 1. LDA City phase 1 consists of 13,000 Kanal of land and it is disclosed from LDA management that 34 contractors and Engineering companies showed their best interest in taking the development work of LDA City.
